Meet Chef Chris Veratudela

Master
Chef, Chris Veratudela has been aboard the Qualifier
105 for 7 fishing seasons and we are committed to Chris in every aspect
of the galley operation. If we at the Q have our
way, Chris will be here for many years to come, his
food is beyond 5 star and it doesn't matter if it is
calm weather or blowing 25 knots on the beam, your
food will be on time and excellent tasting. Special
requests whether dietary or just personnel
preference are not a hassle for Chris, just give him
some advanced notice. If you want fish instead
steak for dinner or vice versa, your request willl
appear as if by magic and it will be no hassle for
Chris and it will be prepared with the same care as
the main course.
A
bonus for the crew and you, Chris is a fisherman in
every sense of the word, when the deck is hot and
heavy and Joe or I find ourselves on the ropes, we
don't have to shout in the galley "Hey we could use
a hand!" Chris will be on deck untangling lines,
helping an angler with his tackle, teaching
technique, gaffing fish or tagging them and throwing
them in the holds. Our Chef loves fishing from A to
Z. Chris will be adding to his resume in the near
future as he has plans to to sit for a 100 ton
United States Coast Guard Masters license. If
anybody
could Captain the Q105, sneak into the galley and
prepare a five star meal, climb the mast and spot a
flat spot of Tuna it would be Chris!
Chris has been good enough to share some of his
recipes with us and in turn, we'll share them with
you. Check out our
recipes page. We'll add more recipes from time
to time so check back in. |
